What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a proven track record of building customer facing services. As a member of the Engineering team, you will work closely with the Product and Design teams to not only develop, but also help define and execute projects. Strong communication skills and a desire to be involved in all aspects of the project life cycle are a must.

Your Responsibilities:

Design and code custom JavaScript applications based on AWS microservices
Translate designer mock-ups, wireframes and data flows into UI’s with modern tooling such as HTML5, CSS and React
Collaborate with architects, developers, security specialists and vendors on innovative solutions to complex business problems, using JavaScript and cloud based AWS technologies
Communicate with product managers, QA teams, and business analysts to deliver technology solutions to meet operational objectives

What You Bring to the Role:

You are fluent in modern JavaScript (ES6+, preferably TypeScript), React and Node as well as CSS, including preprocessors like Sass.
You have experience designing and building backend systems (preferably AWS based)
You have experience with database design (preferably SQL and NoSQL)
You care about linting, prettification and code quality in general
Writing tests is part of your programming work flow
You have experience reviewing your peers’ code and them reviewing yours
