Position Overview:

We are hiring senior full stack developers to accelerate the build out of the SightGain Readiness Platform. We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in any number of the following areas: backend data integration, frontend web development, building efficient SaaS solutions, developing robust APIs, and enabling automation processes. As a developer on SightGain’s Platform team, you will design and build modular software and systems, tackle interesting problems, and find efficient solutions to improve cybersecurity readiness throughout the industry.

We learn from each other, so we’re looking for teammates who love to code, that are passionate about technology, knowledgeable about the latest trends in the field, and engaged with the developer community in order to build a new solution for top industry problems.

Responsibilities

• Use modern programming languages to build scalable, secure software.

• Leverage NodeJS to build backend API

• Utilize React to build exceptional user experiences.

• Iterate with visual designers to refine the user experience

• Work closely with a talented team of engineers and product managers to build service optimized applications

• Write automated tests for each service

• Develop and maintain software using already established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code

Qualifications–we are looking for candidates with a mix of the following

• 2+ years of experience in software development

• Ability to work alongside a Product team to determine effective and time-efficient solutions

• Ability to manage time efficiently and focus on goalsusing agile methods

• A pragmatic approach towards tackling unforeseen challenges

• Experience with Nodejs

• Experience Reactwith RESTful and web-socket-based APIs

• Experience with Elastic, SQL, or python

• Experience providing in-depth code reviews
