BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Seasoned individual, minimum of 5 years development experience, capable of handling broad scope projects that have short to medium-term focus
- Basic knowledge of Business Event Management
- Experience or working knowledge of:
- Java
- . Net
- Scripting languages
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Financial Services/Insurance industry is preferred
- Publish-subscribe framework knowledge would also be a plus
- Experience or working knowledge of all of the following preferred:
- ETL / ELT
- XML / XSD, JSON
- SQL / Relational DB technologies
- Web Services / API’s
- Webmethods
- Java
- . Net
- Scripting languages
- Mainframe technologies (TSO, JCL, Cobol MVS, Endeavor)
- Documenting technical workflows
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Not only develop, but act as scrum master, project manager, quality assurance, tester, etc. as needed on BEM-specific work
- Works with guidance on more complex projects
- Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
- Coordination of code and data migration tasks
- Operates independently on multiple project tasks:
- Non-functional requirements for application specific components
- Responsible for driving designs to ensure they align with architectural roadmap and can be adhered to within project schedule and budget
- Participate in Peer Reviews of designs and code
- Designs integrate and create a working overall design; identifies gaps, problems and dependencies between individual designs/systems
