Description: TapTape is looking for a designer who’s passionate about building beautiful, inspiring brands from the ground up. As a key member of a small 5-person team, you’ll need to be a self-starter who has a firm grasp on how both visual aesthetic and interaction elements lead to a successful product for our users. A penchant for music is highly recommended and is seen as a major plus.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch to produce high-fidelity mockups
- Strong understanding of design process and user-centered methodologies
- Track record of designing and launching great products
- B. A. or B. S. in Design (interaction, visual, graphic, communications, product, industrial, HI, CS) or a related field, or equivalent years of experience)
- History of music taste and passion for up-and-coming artists
- Experience working with engineering teams and translating designs into HTML/CSS/SASS/LESS and some basic JavaScript helpful, though not required
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality visual user interfaces—including those for mobile, desktop, web and mobile devices—from concept to execution
- Contribute to presentations and team communication tools
- Promote and evolve the TapTape brand over time to continue to appeal to our userbase
- Work hand-in-hand with team members to ensure the design is communicating effectively and delightfully.

$40,000 — $60,000/year
