Team Size / Dynamics

• You will be working with a small distributed team, and a variety of technical team members (systems-, developer-, and QA- groups)

• We are collaborative workers, and use Kanban for task management, and daily Stand Up meetings for coordination

Technical Environment

• We are heavily invested in Microsoft technology with Windows Server, . NET, and SQL Server serving as the foundation for our systems

• We maintain & develop solutions on a variety of platforms, including mobile, web, and desktop

• SQL Server 2005-2012R2 (Standard & Enterprise)

• Variety of SQL Server technologies, including: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, mirroring, replication, clustering

• Currently in the 500GB individual database realm; preparing for 1TB realm

• We have a variety of custom internal applications (VB6 through . NET 4 and EF) that interface with SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing development of in-house applications & databases

• Architect, design and build various database components, including scripts & sprocs

• Perform query/sproc optimization

• Writing PowerShell scripts to automate day-to-day tasks

• Develop & Maintain SSRS reports, SSIS packages, SSAS cubes

• Care & Feeding of many databases across multiple SQL Server instances

• Maintain accurate tracking of issues and work items
