A successful candidate will have strong analytical, logical, and troubleshooting skills, and fluency in developing and supporting databases and software applications. Additional responsibilities include: • Perform database administrator functions for MS SQL Server environments • Support data-driven products and applications • Maintain existing databases by implementing mirroring/replication, writing SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, triggers, etc. • Analyze existing databases and implement performance tuning through the use of normalization, indexes, procedure modifications, etc. • Develop data import and export processes from a variety of formats. • Perform regular database maintenance • Develop and review database backup policies and procedures • Assists in coding efforts to develop and maintain applications and interfaces that utilize SQL databases. • Assists with production database issues helping to troubleshoot and isolate issues to root cause and provide issue resolution. • Executes database coding assignments, tasks and responsibilities with high standards and attention to timeline. • Adhere to standards and procedures for team reporting and documentation efforts. • Assist in unit testing.

We are particularly interested in Database Developers familiar with all aspects of developing web based software applications, including web services, performance testing, and data management.
