The ChallengeWe are actively seeking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our remote-friendly team helping to create a top-tier Data Ecosystem. You will turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions. Our ideal candidate has a proactive personality with a strong sense of ownership and initiative and is passionate about building software. – Design, build, and support data-centric services including but not limited to event streaming, ETL/ELT pipelines, distributed data storage, and real-time data processing. – Work on high-impact projects that optimize data availability and quality, and provide reliable access to data across the company. – Collaborate with partner teams to understand their business contexts and analytical challenges, and to transform and sprinkle data-driven fairy dust on their products.- Work with fellow engineers to build out other parts of the data infrastructure, effectively communicating your needs and understanding theirs. – Contribute to the extraction and definition of KPIs, as well as the creation of dashboards for different teams (product, growth, content, etc)- Providing data best practices and helping the organization implement those best practices.
