Job Title: Benefits Customer Service Representative (Remote)

Pay: 16.50 USD per hour with biweekly pay, or 17.25 USD per hour for bilingual English/Spanish candidates.
Location: Remote, but you must live in Buffalo, NY.
Work Schedule:
• After 30 days, pay increases to 18.75 USD per hour for bilingual staff and 18.00 USD per hour for non‑bilingual staff.
• No weekend shifts – Monday through Friday only.
• During peak season, expect 40 hours per week with possible overtime.
• During slower periods, weekly hours may range from 32 to 40 depending on client demand.
• Must be available for shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., occasionally until 10:00 or 11:00 p.m.
• Some West Coast assignments may require availability from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Position Summary:
We are seeking local candidates for a remote Benefits Customer Service Representative role. You will help members understand and manage their health and retirement benefits, providing meaningful support that positively impacts their daily lives.

Responsibilities:
• Assist members with enrolling in benefits and updating their health or retirement plans.
• Provide high‑quality support via phone, email, and web chat.
• Begin by supporting one client, with training provided later to support multiple clients.
• Handle a variety of member inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
• Review and clearly explain benefit documents.
• Carefully handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications:
This remote role requires local residency. Equipment must be picked up on your first day, and occasional in‑person meetings may occur.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or call center experience is helpful but not required – training is provided.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work well with different personality types.
• Basic computer skills required.

Benefits:
Full‑time employees become eligible for medical, vision, dental, life, and short‑term disability coverage after 90 days.
A 401(k) with company match is available after one year.

Bilingual Applicants:
