We seek a technical partner to help Localwise execute a much grander vision. We aim to completely reengineer the process by which local businesses hire part-time employees. Today, both applicants and employers hate the cover letter/resume driven approach. We seek to replace the status quo with algorithms that predict quality job-to-applicant matches. Our model is inspired by principles from online dating and machine learning.
Our ideal candidate has the following characteristics: • Full-stack web developer • Experience in: (i) building and deploying web-based platforms (ii) databases (iii) machine learning • Keen attention to detail • Passion for local communities • Extremely hardworking, yet fun to hang out with
