Mobile Health One, Inc. (MHO) CTO Job Description

MHO is developing a cloud-based, HIPAA-secure mobile communication platform – MDChat™. MDChat™ directly connects healthcare providers with each other, with their patients, and with the information they need when they need it. The problem is costly care delays and errors from systems and processes that isolate people and data – up to $1 trillion+ in operational delays and 98,000 patient deaths from medical errors. MHO’s solution improves patient outcomes by accelerating communication and access to information while reducing errors and costs.

The CTO has authority and responsibility for the following:

1) Worked for an early stage company before and likes/understands the culture of a startup

2) Identified, hired and managed offshore and in-house software development teams

3) Willing to get their hands dirty – Prepare detailed development specs/requirements/QA testing procedures for developers – web site, mobile web and mobile apps

4) Evaluate development partners and tools used by developers

5) Provide project management for all development efforts

6) Provide end-user support in conjunction with development team as needed

7) Manage HIPAA-secure cloud network infrastructure to meet needs for scalability, security and redundancy – AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud experience a plus

8) Define tech roadmap for software development and network architecture needs

9) Killer UI/UX experience a plus

The CTO should have 7-10 years in IT leadership roles. A background in healthcare IT, HIPAA requirements, consumer engagement tech strategies, and supporting cloud computing environments is a huge plus. CTO is part of the leadership team and reports to the CEO.

The CTO will be involved in many aspects of the company beyond technology related activities. This individual has the opportunity to put their signature on the success of this organization. Compensation includes salary and significant stock option package.
