Nielsen is searching for a passionate and experienced Creative Director to lead their in-house creative team. This individual will be a driving force in shaping the visual identity and messaging for Nielsen’s brand and solutions, working across both B2B and B2C markets. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong design aesthetic and a collaborative approach, capable of inspiring and mentoring a team of talented creatives.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can translate marketing objectives into compelling campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and video. The Creative Director will partner closely with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and impactful storytelling, while also overseeing the creative process from concept to completion, managing resources effectively, and maintaining high standards of quality within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative strategies: across all marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency.
- Lead and manage: brainstorming sessions, the creative process, and a team of internal and external creatives.
- Oversee operations: including workflows, budgets, deadlines, and resource allocation.
- Shape the brand: by establishing visual and voice standards, and ensuring these are implemented in all campaigns.
- Provide guidance and mentorship: to the creative team through feedback and career development support.
- Collaborate with leadership: to achieve company goals and deliver high-quality creative solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, or other relevant fields8 years of related experience with creative direction, preferably internal agency setting
- 8+ years of experience: An in-depth knowledge of B2B brand development and multichannel marketing models
- Strong English proficiency: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in digital, video and print particularly with, but not limited to web, social and all forms of digital including different platforms and devices
- Technical proficiency: Must be comfortable using new technologies to enhance creativity and productivity.
- Creative expertise: Proven ability to develop campaign concepts, vision, and messaging.
- Management skills: Experience in leading creative teams, managing budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with strong presentation abilities.
- Multidisciplinary background: Experience in brand identity, art direction, content strategy, and video/audio production.
- Portfolio required: Candidates must present a portfolio of their work.
