The Role: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Growth General Manager

Compensation: $100,000–$200,000 USD OTE (Base + High-Incentive Profit Share)

We are seeking a decisive execution leader to serve as the operational foundation and primary growth driver for a profitable portfolio of EdTech assessment platforms (including Wonderlic Test Prep and PrepTerminal).

As the Founder and product architect, my focus is on R&D and AI-driven innovation. Your role is to take my strategic direction, run the P&L, expand our marketing systems, and aggressively advance the business.

What You Will Build and Oversee:

• The Marketing Engine: You will manage our direct‑response funnels, Google/Meta media buying, CRO, and A/B testing. You will evolve our marketing to align with modern search dynamics (LLM citations, AI Overviews, advanced SEO).
• The AI Content Factory: You will lead AI adoption across production, creating scalable systems for generating practice tests, AI agents, and inbound video content.
• Technical Operations and AI Execution: You will supervise our WordPress/LMS platforms and directly oversee developers. You will implement, refine, and integrate AI agents, features, and workflows into our core products while maintaining flawless performance and seamless checkout experiences.
• Team Hiring and Leadership: You will work with the Founder to recruit and manage specialized talent (CRO designers, developers, media buyers). You will set priorities, enforce timelines, and drive accountability.

• Expert Digital Marketer: You likely come from an agency background or have led growth for B2C digital or info products. If you need explanations on GEOs, pixel events, or GA4 logic, this isn’t the right role.
• Technically Fluent and AI-Native: Implementing AI workflows, designing prompts, and managing complex CMS environments come naturally to you.
• Strong, Structured Manager: You are highly organized and unafraid to hold others—including the Founder—accountable.
