Searchful is a small but fast-growing digital media publisher made up of affiliate websites focused on home improvement.
We’re expanding our team by hiring a Content Manager who will create valuable, helpful digital content using semantic SEO techniques—producing content with no filler that delivers unique value to readers while being optimized for Google search.
## About the role:
The ideal Content Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end content publishing process. The key goals of the role are to:
– Research and create content briefs for writers
– Review drafts and provide feedback to content writers
– Edit and refine content so it’s ready for publishing
– Coordinate with graphic designers to produce useful, original images
– Oversee content production and current workflow processes to improve output efficiency
– Manage, mentor, and build a high-quality content writing team
– Handle content administration

### Skills
No formal education, qualifications, or certifications are required. You’ll be a great fit if you:
– Are detail-oriented
– Learn quickly
– Are comfortable with technology (able to pick up new online tools quickly; strong Excel skills are a plus)
– Have strong communication skills and feel comfortable with one-to-one Zoom calls
– Are comfortable working with spreadsheets (no advanced skills required)
– Know how to use Google tools (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
– Have a growth mindset and a flexible, adaptable approach when priorities shift (especially in a fast-growing startup)
– Have a positive, “figure it out” attitude toward problem-solving
– Are self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and able to see projects through to completion
### Experience and requirements
– 1+ years of editorial and writing experience
– Ability to overlap with some hours each day in European time (GMT)
– Fluency in English, both written and spoken
### It’s a plus if you have:
– Experience with WordPress
– Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
– Basic SEO knowledge
– Some experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs
