Our Team

We help shape the perception of our brand and the value of our solution to prospective new customers through a self-service selling model. Our product will redefine Informatica’s sales process by providing customers the opportunity to experience presentation and demonstration of Informatica’s on-premise offerings on-demand. The team will define the self-service sales cycle and build the components that make up that self-service experience.

Your Opportunity

This role is open to multiple locations within the US.We are seeking a technically adept, self-motivated, and creative professional to join our team. You will drive a cross-functional team to create a model for delivering compelling content that is both instructive and persuasive to advance customers through the early stages of a sales opportunity.

You are technically adept and experienced with technical selling. You have created professional and refined content that is intrinsically engaging, irrespective of the subject-matter. You’ve managed cross-functional teams, and have leveraged subject-matter experts to support your efforts. You find a collaborative work environment rewarding, yet are equally content and adept at working independently.

In addition, you have the following attributes:

• Strong ability to understand common business challenges and corresponding technical solutions

• Adept at simplifying communication of complex concepts

• Persuasive communication skills

Your responsibilities:

You will create the model for content to be delivered on Informatica’s Product Experience portal. You will also deconstruct solutions into a series of vignettes that are both instructional and persuasive. And your creativity will ensure that content is engaging and fun. Subject-matter experts will provide product expertise, so that your content hits the mark. Your solution will form a path that strengthens a customer’s initial interest and also provides light training in preparation for self-service product demonstration and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into persuasive business value

• Outstanding communication skills

• Experienced project owner with demonstrable ability to craft and execute a plan involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders

• Instructional design and/or Instructional technology training/expertise

• BS degree or equivalent experience in product applications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience

• Minimum of four years in pre-sales OR enterprise software implementation experience at a software vendor

• Experience in Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Business Intelligence and RBDMS preferred
