Vuru (vuru.co) is seeking a self-starter and highly-motivated marketing manager who takes ownership and excels in startup environments. We’re looking for a collaborative member of our lean team who adds major value and shares in our mission to engage a whole new generation of investors

The two main roles of this postition are:
1) Build and manage a social media presencethat includes:
- Tracking comments and stories related to value investing, social investing and fintech in multiple communications channels
- Identifying social media influencers; maintaining influencer database
- Promoting Vuru news and programs using guidelines & content from the social media plan
- Develop content for the Vuru blog, website, social media channels, newsletters, invitations and online promotional materials
- Graphic design and infographics are huge assets.
2) Plan industry events in conjunction with our team:
- Organize speaker events with 20-50 attendees
- Work with industry professionals, companies and influencers
- Experience with logistics (food, seating, printing) is an asset
