Meet Nitin Jain (ex-IBMer, MIT Sloan MBA, 15+ years in hi-tech and an entrepreneur with a successful startup exit) and Tao Ni (ex-LivingSocial and Microstrategy, Virginia Tech PhD. and a passionate product designer)– co-founders of http://SproutUp.co, a DC-based startup. We are two guys who recently left their cushy corporate jobs aiming to develop a deeper connection between emerging product creators and product consumers/ enthusiasts.

At SproutUp, we are redefining commerce for emerging products (e.g. those funded on Kickstarter, Indiegogo and the likes) offering new ways for creators to grow user base, improve products and commercialize. Leveraging the power of sharing economy, we enable a community-oriented marketplace where consumers and innovation enthusiasts experience emerging products and eventually turn into real buyers. We are excited to be working with early adopters – already highly successful crowdfunding campaign projects and are continuing to expand our customer base. While we are busy launching our platform, we’re in need of a passionate,startup-minded and community-oriented individual that will be accountable for reaching out, acquiring and managing our community partners.This is a great opportunity to participate actively in the crowdfunding ecosystem. Ideally this person is someone experienced in the crowdfunding space with relationships on the product creator side and has strong communication skills.
