Communications System Engineer – Cyprus or Greece
The Role:
As a Communications Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team, designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge communication systems. Your work will encompass technologies such as Live Chat, Instant Messaging, Email, VoIP, SMS, and other communication channels to ensure seamless and efficient connectivity.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their communication needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction with our communication systems.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate clear and effective communication.
- Implement and manage Live Chat systems (e.g., LiveChat, Intercom).
- Integrate and manage Instant Messenger platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Line, Telegram).
- Configure and administrate Mailing Systems (Google Workspace and/or MS Exchange).
- Implement and manage email technologies (e.g., DMARC, SPF, DKIM).
- Manage email sender systems (e.g., Sendgrid, Mailgun).
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to email deliverability to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide support on Business Communication Systems and Plugins, both internal and external (CRM, Customer Care Tools, Custom Enterprise Applications, etc.).
- Vendor communications and integrations support.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization, recommend improvements, and stay up to date with industry best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements to our communication systems.
- Work with VoIP and SMS technologies to ensure seamless communication across various platforms.
- Provide support and integration for telecom technologies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation that includes network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in designing, implementing, and managing communication systems.
- Experience in Mailing Systems (Google Workspace and/or MS Exchange).
- Experience with Live Chat Solutions (e.g., LiveChat, Intercom).
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Telecom Industry knowledge, including VoIP technologies and SMS.
- Scripting experience (Bash or Python).
- Linux experience.
