About the Role
As an HDVI Physical Damage Adjuster, you will collaborate closely with the Claims and Fleet Services teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing Commercial Heavy Trucking claims, including Third Party Auto Property Damage, First Party Auto Property Damage, and Cargo claims. You will influence claim outcomes and provide strategic guidance to internal and external stakeholders to help deliver exceptional results. This is an associate-level role with strong potential for advancement as the company grows. This position is fully remote.

What You’ll Do
• Manage all aspects of first- and third-party Property Damage claims involving tractor-trailer accidents
• Handle all aspects of Cargo claims
• Adapt to changing business needs and assist with special claims projects or additional duties
• Participate in regular claim reviews with internal and external partners
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance contracts and industry trends by keeping required adjuster licenses active
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in response to customer inquiries

What You Have
• Experience evaluating and determining coverage for Commercial Trucking claims
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation abilities
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Interest in continuous learning and growth in a startup environment

Preferred Skills
• 1–2 years of Commercial Trucking experience preferred
• Broad expertise across Commercial Auto, including Physical Damage, Auto Liability, First Party Medical/Personal Injury Protection, Motor Truck Cargo, and Truckers General Liability
• College degree
• Active Adjuster License strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Snapsheet, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with self-insured retention, large deductibles, and claims involving Independent Owner Operators
