The Managing Director/Founder is keen to bring onboard a budding coffee expert to join the team and develop the company’s coffee offering. We are looking for someone who will be dedicated, energetic, tenacious and has a passion for quality. You will have great amounts of autonomy and be able to make this role your own. However, you will be given the support you require and the opportunity to grow and develop into this role. In effect, you will become the Managing Director’s right-hand wo/man and eventually become accountable for:

Quality Control • Inventory management – ensuring fresh seasonal coffee • Analysis and sensory evaluation to ensure quality and consistency Logistics • Optimum storage • Roasted Coffee Dispatch Marketing • Collating and sharing of coffee information and stories • Social media Product Development • Sourcing, sampling and developing our product offering and range • Market testing • Budgeting and gross margins Training • Lead for barista development Requirements for this role include: • Experience of working in a coffee service environment, ideally as an experienced barista • An advanced understanding of roast types, profiling, blends, flavour and where to source coffee from • An ability to produce a full range of coffees • Willingness to recruit, nurture and manage a team in the near future • Great customer service and communication skills
