We are looking for a developer experiencedin the majorweb technologies and ideally WordPress.

You will work with a fast-growingmedia startup that has established itself as the leader in its field and is keen to lead rather than follow in the use of new technologies.

THE ROLE

The role involves developing a range of projects from start to fruition totake our business to the next stage, while helpingsupport the existing codebase.

As a member of a small team (<2 people), you’ll be hands on from the very beginning, setting standards and taking major technical decisions.

The taskswill range from simple WordPress extensions, code refactoring and optimising on the one hand, to developing a full-fledged mobile app, creating software applications forinternal processes and building newfeatures for our customers. Visualisations andmore UI-oriented projectsare also a possibility. Links to example projects and/or open source project contributions will be welcome, and carry weight in the selection process. Flexible working hours, ability to work from home, responsibility on future direction of projects, and ability to work on greenfield implementationsof new projects, are perks of the job. Where?We are based inthe UK and the US, but this is a remote working position. The role will involve regular online meetings to keep track of projects.

When?Available for immediate start. Instead of interviews with brainteasers and coding, we willoffer a small development contract before deciding to hire.
