Are you passionate about leading and mentoring teams on transformative infrastructure projects? Do you love creating solutions that are more efficient, more scalable, and more cost effective?

Cloudreach is an idea that started out in a London pub that is now a global cloud enabler and one of the world’s largest AWS partners. We have hubs in North America and Europe, with more certified technical staff than anyone else in the world. Cloudreach works on challenging technical projects such as data center migrations, data analytics, and managing digital estates. This is not your average company; we keep our feet on the ground and our heads in the cloud.

We are looking to bring on a team leader to guide our teamson complex enterprise IT projects in AWS.This role will be a combination of hands on technical work and mentoring engineering staff.

How will you spend your time at Cloudreach?

  • 30 percent of your time will be spent providing hands-on contribution to green field projects utilizing Amazon Web Services infrastructure (EC2, VPC, etc.)

  • Depending on your background, you may serve on the project as a solutions architect, senior systems engineer, orspecialist in a specific subject matter.

  • You will partner directly with clients to lead cloud migration programs that affect thousands of users in an organization.

  • The other 70 percent of your time will be spent leading your team and contributing to the strategic vision. We believe in more than just management, so in this role you will:

  • Provide continuous feedback and guidance; you’ll meet 1-1 with each member of your team on a weekly basis to discuss project status, performance, their development plan, and assist with any roadblocks they may have encountered.

  • Mentor junior staff on both soft skills (consulting, influencing customers, presenting, etc) and technical skills (building their acumen with AWS, scripting, automation, and more).

  • Partner with People Operations for the training, development, and hiring of your team members. You will help set targets, establish a development plan for each team member, and assist in providing the necessary resources and support they need to hit their goals.
