Role:
We’re looking for a skilled, motivated Clinician Impact Onboarding Specialist in the San Francisco Bay Area to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you’ll consult with clinicians to help them improve their workflows using our innovative AI medical scribe software, Ambience AutoScribe. The goal is to empower clinicians with groundbreaking generative AI technology.
You’ll train clinicians on how to get the most value from our AI medical scribe software—helping streamline workflows, improve patient care, and increase the efficiency of clinical documentation. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of both healthcare and clinical documentation.
This position is essential to ensuring clinicians feel comfortable, confident, and capable using our product every day.
What You’ll Do:
Assess current workflows and deliver thorough training programs to help users maximize efficiency with AutoScribe, tailoring the training to each person’s knowledge level and responses.
Help create training materials such as user guides, videos, and presentations to support workflow optimization, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.
Collect and analyze clinician feedback, then use it to refine the training program and contribute to our product roadmap.
Support users and troubleshoot product and/or workflow issues, escalating to the right internal teams (e.g., engineering) when needed.
Make sure product updates are fully understood and integrated into the training curriculum.
Run regular evaluations to measure training effectiveness and clinicians’ understanding of AutoScribe.
Provide continuous support, coaching, and resources so users remain comfortable and proficient with AutoScribe.
Gather clinician feedback about note quality, then triage and share relevant insights with the clinical team.
Who You Are:
A degree in healthcare, nursing, or a related field
Proven experience in teaching or training—ideally in healthcare—or experience training others to use software
Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply
Patient, kind, and enthusiastic about teaching
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Flexible schedule: able to work flexible hours to accommodate clinicians’ schedules and time zones
Travel: willing to travel about 2–4 weeks per year for company offsites and/or customer visits
The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare background, a passion for teaching, and excitement about AI technology and healthcare innovation. You should be a clear communicator who can guide clinicians through the learning process so they feel confident and comfortable using our product. If you have the skills and experience we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
Compensation:
The base compensation range is $85,000–$110,000, depending on your level and your preferred cash/equity mix. We strongly believe in offering generous equity grants so the team can share directly in the impact they create.
If you’re outside the range, we still encourage you to apply. We take an individualized approach to ensure compensation reflects each candidate’s unique life factors.
Not sure you meet every qualification? We don’t expect you to have done everything listed. However, you should be able to make a credible case for why you’re ready to grow into this new opportunity.
