Manager, Clinical Services Quality & Compliance

Clipboard Health is looking for an energetic self-starter who is comfortable reigning in on compliance efforts at our firm. Candidate must be comfortable with Joint Commission, along with other regulatory law (further mentioned in the Job Responsibilities section). You are analytical in nature, demonstrate a high-degree of organizational skills and can quickly implement changes & even more importantly, coach Managers on your recent compliance improvement efforts. You strive for operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Continuously implements changes to satisfy new and existing Healthcare Staffing Joint Commission Standards, all other Healthcare Staffing Laws, regular Staffing Regulatory Law, Federal, State & Local Regulatory Law, HIPAA, OSHA, EEOC, etc.
  • Effectively collaborates with Peer Managers, members of Leadership and all other staff members.
  • Enforces adoption of new processes & able to coach managers on compliant best practices.
  • Submits Jira engineering tickets to our Dev team on an ongoing basis to make our platform more compliant.
  • Comfortable with legal language and able to breakdown messaging & tasks in an absorbable format for the Org.
  • Seeks new legal accreditations and keeps existing ones up-to-date.
  • Provide guidance to Managers when needed for situations such as, but not limited to: W2 Employee vs. 1099 Contractor situations, Vendor Relationship situations, Use of Subcontractors, etc.
  • Oversee data collection on a monthly cadance and reporting to management when success criteria deviates.
  • Integrate a culture of quality and compliance across the Org. through education, collaboration, and transformation.
  • Able to collaborate with other areas across the Org. to plan/design/implement interventions to continuously improve clinical outcomes and patient experience of care; quality of care, patient safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration/Management or Health Administration
Substitutions:
  • 6+ years of experience in a Health Plan or Provider Quality role may be substituted for education
  • 5 – 7+ years in Quality Assurance
  • 5 – 7+ years in Management Registered Nurse (RN)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
  • Minimum of 3 – 5+ years in Process Improvement
