ABOUT US
At Vida, we help people improve their health — and we’re working to improve the healthcare system as a whole.

Vida is a virtual health clinic offering personalized, on‑demand coaching and programs from a network of experienced providers, including prescribers, registered dietitians, therapists, and health coaches, all accessible through an easy-to-use app. We focus on managing chronic cardiometabolic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and hypertension, as well as supporting lifestyle goals like healthier eating, increased physical activity, weight loss, and stress reduction.

By pairing advanced technology with exceptional healthcare professionals, Vida removes long‑standing barriers that prevent people from receiving high‑quality care. Fortune 1000 companies, major national insurers, and large health systems trust us to help their members and employees live healthier lives.

Vida is authorized to operate in many—though not all—states. If you reside in or plan to work from a state where Vida is not registered, you may not be eligible for employment. Please consult your recruiter for details on our registered locations.

As part of the Clinical Operations Team, you will use data from every stage of the provider and patient journey to create frameworks, tools, and insights that drive cost‑effective results for members, providers, and the organization. Your work will help identify the factors that matter most in delivering strong population health outcomes and maintaining a high‑performing provider network.

Vida Health functions through close collaboration across technology, business, and clinical teams. You will work with a diverse group of medical providers, therapists, care coordinators, dietitians, health coaches, product managers, executives, and clinical researchers to make our operations as efficient and effective as possible. Our data strategy is intentionally polychronic, meaning we use varied data sources and population‑level insights to support members with multiple interconnected chronic conditions throughout their lives.

Our technology stack runs on Google Cloud Platform, and you will use SQL, Python, Looker, and other tools to build actionable dashboards and produce meaningful analyses. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Our mission is to deliver innovative polychronic care that empowers people to reach their health goals.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clinical, technical, and business teams to manage a network of more than 300 clinicians.
• Create frameworks and tools to assess network capacity and identify gaps across a complex system spanning 50 states, multiple clinician types, and two languages.
• Work with the finance team to forecast current and future patient demand and determine required staffing.
• Define metrics, study trends, produce insights, and develop visualizations that enhance provider quality and efficiency.
• Build and maintain centralized data models that standardize workflows and support decision‑making and data products across Vida Medical.
• Develop interactive dashboards, documentation, playbooks, and training materials to help clinical teams effectively use data.
• Use BI tools to support strategic initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and clinical researchers on product development, analytical tools, data quality, metric definitions, and analytical rigor.
• Engage with internal and external executive stakeholders to evaluate performance and promote business growth.
• Lead cross‑functional, data‑driven initiatives that influence both business strategy and the technology roadmap.
• Build analytical systems and frameworks that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency of data analysis processes.
• Foster relationships with internal and external customers to deliver analytics and data products.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
• Experience supporting a clinical organization is preferred, including demand forecasting, provider scorecards, quality and efficiency metrics, and evaluating network adequacy.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python or R, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code and implement engineering practices that support both exploratory and production‑level work.
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to connect insights across Vida’s operations to enhance the company’s value.
• Ability to tell compelling stories with data and visualizations that influence senior internal and external audiences.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• A customer‑focused project management approach, with the ability to ask the right questions and navigate ambiguous direction.
• Openness to learning new platforms and tools, and willingness to suggest and help implement new technologies.
• Interest in academic and industry innovations that improve data quality and analytical rigor.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong listening skills and motivation to help build a world‑class data organization in a fast‑growing company.
• Leadership or team management experience preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year.
