**Position Summary:**
Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management, you will serve as the primary client liaison, leading the implementation of projects and program workstreams within PointClickCare’s Strategic Delivery Office. You will support multi-year enterprise transformation programs and/or individual projects under the SDO, ensuring alignment with transformation strategy and portfolio-level objectives. This role manages both standalone projects and workstreams embedded within larger transformations and requires strong collaboration with Program Directors, business stakeholders, OCM partners, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Use proven PMO methodologies to build project plans that meet stakeholder/customer needs, deliver within budget, achieve desired outcomes, and align with SDO governance, intake, and prioritization standards.
– Lead projects with clear ownership to ensure alignment, momentum, and cohesion across all workstreams.
– Partner closely with business units to execute scope and objectives while aligning with transformation roadmaps, sequencing, and dependencies; participate in integrated planning rhythms across SDO programs.
– Manage project budget, scope, team resources, communications, and plans to ensure solutions support expected business outcomes and benefits realization.
– Proactively embed change management into planning, working with Program Change Directors to manage readiness, impacts, communications, adoption needs, and portfolio-level change “collision” risks.
– Organize and facilitate meetings with clear goals and produce timely meeting minutes.
– Provide timely and effective reporting to executive sponsors and business stakeholders, including milestones, budget tracking, status updates, and any escalation issues; follow escalation and change control processes; ensure reporting follows SDO standard formats and supports portfolio dashboards and integrated program reporting.
– Use data-driven metrics and AI-enabled insights to support forecasting, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
– Own risk and issue management by identifying problems early, convening the right people to resolve issues, and ensuring issues are properly addressed and closed with appropriate urgency.
– Drive decision ownership to the appropriate accountability level.
– Coordinate with vendors as needed, including SOW, onboarding into project teams, and holding vendors accountable for deliverables against schedule and contract terms; manage vendor relationships and lead vendor calls.
– Understand business functions and technical requirements in depth.
– Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project implementation, defining tasks and resource allocation.
– Strengthen the team’s project management capabilities and improve PMO knowledge and experience.
– Support the overall goals and objectives of the Project Management Office.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
– 5–10 years of project management experience
– 3–5 years in SaaS business environments
– Experience managing at least one of the following: enterprise-wide transformation programs, technology modernization, multi-vendor delivery, or cross-functional multi-team delivery initiatives
– Experience delivering workstreams within enterprise-wide transformation programs (multi-year, cross-functional)
– Experience working in matrixed governance environments with cross-program dependencies
– Experience supporting enterprise information management programs, corporate data office initiatives, or digital transformation projects
– PMP or Agile certification preferred
– Experience partnering with OCM teams to manage change impacts and readiness
– Strong business acumen and assertive, self-motivated approach
– Highly detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management
– Excellent communication skills and ability to manage scope and interpret portfolio dashboards, metrics, and data insights to drive decisions
– Comfort working with AI-assisted delivery and analysis tools
– Strong knowledge of project metrics, including collection, reporting, trend analysis, and metrics creation
– Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and select appropriate alternatives using basic root-cause analysis
– Ability to manage scope changes by assessing requirement changes and communicating risks/impacts to budget, schedule, and resourcing
– Proficiency with MS Office, Aha!, JIRA, or other project management tools
**Compensation:** $52.88–$64.76 per hour.
At PointClickCare, base pay is part of a broader total rewards package. The Canada hourly base range for this position is $52.88–$64.76 and is not eligible for overtime. Pay ranges are based on job and level, and reflect target salaries for new hires across all Canada locations. Individual compensation within the range is based on job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience (including professional and lived experience), and/or work location.
