Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Circonus’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is in charge of our technological needs, as well as research and development.

We are looking for a CTO to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. In particular, we are looking for a CTO with a strong understanding of deep software infrastructure who has experience building out cloud infrastructure.

Our CTO is responsible for developing policies and procedures and uses technology to enhance products and services. Our CTO is also responsible for developing strategies to increase revenue, along with performing cost-benefit analysis and return-on-investment analysis.

The CTO examines Circonus’ short- and long-term needs and utilizes capital to make investments designed to help the organization reach its technology and business objectives.
