We are seeking someone who has helped build/re-engineer digital products from idea to delivery; someone who has experience bringing together engineers, designers and business. We’re going to ask you to function at the level of something like a mini-CTO. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for building consumer e-commerce products. You must be able to lead a cross-functional team through idea generation and discovery, product definition, development and product launch. Job Specs: • Define and prioritize the eCommerce product development roadmap for the division and company, with a strong product portfolio management analytical approach. Develop budget for specified business • Understand and synthesize customer needs from market research, analytics, and competitive insights. You will be using data – both qualitative and quantitative – to understand how our users experience our content and shopping experience. • Lead our mobile development strategy: currently we do not have a mobile experience so this will need to be taken from idea to implementation • Define a product vision that delight users and inspires the development team • Define the team’s business strategy, product strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap • Deliver business and product requirements, feature prioritization and business justification • Work hands-on with development and business teams to successfully design, build, and deploy product features • Example projects: o Develop mobile site, Streamline the customer returns process, personalized on site customer experience, CRM for all touch points integrated with e-commerce Requirements: • Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, especially with web-based products, e-commerce a must (mobile knowledge huge plus). • 4 years of experience in consumer-facing online commerce
