Job requirements

    • Role Overview:
    • We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL development, with a focus on building scalable and efficient data pipelines.
    • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement Snowflake data models, schemas, and objects (tables, views, stages, streams, tasks).
    • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and related tools.
    • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
    • Implement data security, governance, and performance tuning within Snowflake.
    • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments for performance and reliability.
    • Integrate Snowflake with BI tools and other data platforms as needed.
    • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or development, with at least 4 years in Snowflake.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake features (Time Travel, Cloning, Streams, Tasks, etc.).
    • Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion) or scripting languages (Python preferred).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.
    • Nice-to-Have:
    • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
    • Knowledge of Snowflake cost optimization and query performance tuning.
    • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data solutions.
    • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
