We’re looking for Staff Back End Engineers who love to work with state-of-the-art technologies. You should have experience and proven ability to turn experimental ideas into new solutions, build new products, and create new concepts.

LOCATION: Remote from anywhere in Latin America

What you get to do:

Identify technical challenges that affect multiple teams and design a plan to address them
Evolve our architecture and practices to respond to business and technical needs
Work with multiple teams to ensure our systems can scale with our business, both in terms of performance and maintainability
Write and contribute to technical specifications and other documentation artifacts to be worked on by different teams
Be accountable for architecture design and technical specifications
Together with the group manager, identify and address technical gaps either through hiring, training, or other initiatives
Experiment with spike projects that will lay out the foundations for other teams and developers
Lead complex, technical projects under engineering scope

You have experience:

8+ years of programming experience building and maintaining core services
Be comfortable working with multiple programming languages
Building and maintaining systems, in multiple programming languages (one of them being ideally Python or Go)
Working with services from cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in different contexts
Working with Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus
Troubleshooting hard problems with teams other than your own, through ad-hoc and metric analysis
