Switch Themes builds themes exclusively for Shopify’s theme store.
We’re looking for a Front-End Developer / Shopify Theme Developer who can assist us with ongoing support, maintenance and bug fixing of our Shopify themes.
This is a casual / contract role with an estimated 10 hours a week with room to increase. This is a remote position – but ideally the candidate will be in a timezone that has crossover with either EST or AEST time.
Requirements
You will:
- Work across all 4 our themes
- Fix bugs and issues from our Github account
- Assist with theme upgrades and maintenance
- Work on mandatory updates from the Shopify themes team
- Work closely with our support team to fix bugs or provide theme customisations when necessary
Your experience and skills:
- Shopify Themes and Shopify’s liquid templating language
- Shopify platform and Shopify Themes
- Debugging – able to quickly find the source of a JS or CSS bug
- HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience with Webpack and other build tools
- Expert in Javascript skills (Vanilla JS)
- Expert in CSS
- Tailwind CSS
- Github and version control
