OVERVIEW

Location: Remote, United States
As a Financial Analyst I, you will be responsible for conducting financial research and analysis to support the organization’s fiscal operations, programmatic financial execution, and strategic decision-making. You will analyze project budgets and monitor the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements.
In this role, you will build a broad skill set in financial management, program-level financial reporting, and knowledge management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights on funding availability and support the enhancement of operational processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining accurate contractual records, managing staffing updates within the ERP system, ensuring precise labor planning for all team members, and supporting company-wide functions such as travel and expense reporting.
This position places a strong emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving. Under guided supervision, you will gain practical experience in financial analysis and reporting, directly supporting the organization’s financial performance, contract compliance, and timely delivery of financial commitments.

The proposed salary range for this position is $57,695-$86,550. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITES

    • Support the administration and optimization of the Unanet ERP system, including labor planning, project setup, timesheet and expense approvals, and data reconciliation
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and repositories, ensuring compliance with internal processes and customer requirements
    • Collaborate across teams to support onboarding, respond to leadership requests, and deliver timely operational and programmatic solutions
    • Identify process gaps, document new procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across FACT functions
    • Contribute to quality assurance and compliance efforts by validating data, ensuring adherence to policies, and supporting contractual deliverables
    • Perform administrative and coordination tasks as needed, including meeting scheduling, data organization, and knowledge management support
    • Demonstrate a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Conduct financial forecasting and interpret economic trends to support decision-making
    • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer’s satisfaction
    • Complete personal Professional Development Plan and attend all corporate meetings
    • Ensure camera is turned on for all formal and informal meetings
    • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • Clearance: Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
    • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Business/Finance preferred with 0- 2years of relevant experience
    • Exceptional analytical ability to interpret financial data and trends
    • Solid knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
    • Effective working both independently and within cross-functional teams
    • Skilled in prioritization and meeting tight deadlines
    • Clear communicator with adept problem-solving capabilities
    • Highly organized with excellent time management
    • Quick to learn new systems and processes
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • NCMA or CCMA Certification
    • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Unanet)
    • Genuine interest in government contracting or financial management
    • Foundational knowledge of government contracts and financial regulations
    • Skilled in financial data visualization and reporting
