Web Teks is seeking a back-end Java developer who can make technical recommendations and implement our clients’ many diverse visions.

Working at Web Teks

Java developers at Web Teks will architect and solutions for the middle and backend tiers. They will work closely with the front end developers to integrate solutions. They will communicate with non-programming staff to help them understand the solutions being proposed.

Required Experience

• 5 years experience or 2 years with a Bachelor’s degree

• Java/Java Spring

• REST Web Services

• SQL and NoSQL database

• Hibernate

• JUnit and Mock testing

• Git

• Maven and/or Gradle

• Capable of translating client’s needs into well-architected solutions

• Capable of identifying and communicating potential risks

• Work with debugging tools

Other Desirable Skills

• TDD

• UML

• Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions for them

• Understanding of design patterns and be able to give concrete examples of their implementation

• Familiarity with Agile development paradigms
