DF Studio, a web-based photography asset management and workflow application for professional photography, is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to join our experienced team. We are a small, profitable company with a single software product used by many large entertainment companies as an essential part of their daily workflow. Every member of our team is critical and has a voice in the direction of our product. You will need to look at the whole picture, and think of the impact beyond the spec. You should have a passion for excellence. Quality is more important than quantity. Self-direction is critical.

We seek an engineer with full-stack experience and fluency in a range of software engineering technologies. Ability to step outside of your primary skill is important. Other development tasks include backend server operations (DevOps / AWS), desktop client development, metrics/reporting scripts, debugging and support engineering. Team members each have areas of expertise but work with and review each other’s code.

This is a full-time position, working remotely/from home in the western United States. Travel requirements are light, limited to 3-4 visits to the office in Culver City, CA per year.
