As our Sales Specification Manager, you will play a key role at the crossroads of business development, account management, and technical expertise. You’ll use your deep knowledge of the cement industry and construction materials to promote our sustainable cement solutions. Working closely with customers, you will help create concrete specifications that meet both project requirements and environmental objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities in the construction sector.
– Building strong relationships with architects, engineers, specifiers, and other key decision-makers.
– Providing in-depth technical guidance on Material Evolution’s sustainable cement products and how they’re used in concrete mixes.
– Partnering with clients to develop and improve concrete specifications that include our low-carbon cements.
– Negotiating and finalizing sales contracts with clients.
– Maintaining and growing existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
– Tracking market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
– Helping develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
The Candidate:
– 5+ years of specification sales experience, particularly with architects in the concrete/cement industry.
– Knowledge of the route to market and how to drive sustainable growth.
– Proven ability to succeed with the clients and route to market identified above.
– Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to sell effectively at all levels.
– Professionally trained in sales, with the ability to execute and implement strategy.
– Highly motivated, ambitious, and enthusiastic, with lots of energy.
