Job Description:

Market and Product Intelligence

•Collect product intelligence of battery cell and its upstream materials up to mining.

•Acquire the product details from product design, technology, regulation, application etc.

•Price benchmarks of suppliers and competitors’ supplier base.

•Quick turnaround to reflect market dynamics.

Supply Chain Mapping and Product Benchmarking

•Monitor overall battery cell and upstream materials supply landscape, identify suppliers to engage.

•Audit and validate the ESG compliance for whole supply chain related to Fluence business. Identify potential risks and define measures to resolve the risks.

•Perform supply chain mapping for battery cell and create related database to manage it.

•Engage potential suppliers, request technical, manufacturing data and roadmap via questionnaires.

•Review and benchmark suppliers’ product testing data according to the evaluation matrix.

•Review and benchmark market players’ current product specifications and 5+ years product roadmaps.

•Review and benchmark industry new technology trend and development progress.

Position Requirements:

Must Have:

•You have a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

•You have relevant expertise of material, chemistry or electronics.

•You have Battery or related materials, development, manufacturing, or quality management…etc. or Battery Energy Storage System industrial experience.

•You make good data analysis.

•You enjoy working in an international environment.

•You are comfortable with working with teams and suppliers in different time zones and frequent travel (approximately 30% of the time – one week per month)

•You are eager to learn and grow up yourself.

•You are interactive communicating internally and externally, both verbally and written, in Chinese and English.

•You are self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and make your recommendation.

•You are investigative, know how to dig out information, relationshop builder / networker.
