WorkWave is looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to help align business goals with the needs of employees and leaders within specific business units. This role collaborates across all HR areas to deliver services that support overall business objectives. The HRBP should have a strong understanding of the business unit’s finances, culture, long-term direction, and competitive environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Strategic HR Planning: Work with business leaders to create and implement HR strategies that support business goals and improve organizational performance.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a link between management and the Employee Relations team, managing complex issues and ensuring compliance with laws.
• Talent Management: Partner with the Talent team to meet staffing needs and develop workforce strategies.
• Professional Development: Collaborate with the Professional Development team on succession planning and employee growth initiatives.
• Change Management: Guide and support change efforts across the organization to ensure smooth transitions.
• Organizational Development: Identify HR needs and create solutions to address them.
• Compliance: Ensure the company follows labor laws and internal policies, providing guidance on HR practices.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use HR data and analytics to support decisions and highlight areas for improvement.
• Culture and Engagement: Encourage strong employee engagement and maintain a culture aligned with company values.
• Compensation and Benefits: Work with the Compensation and Benefits team on salary benchmarking, job reviews, and pay evaluations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or HR certifications are a plus.
• At least 7 years of HR experience, including 4 years in a strategic or HRBP role.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong consulting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Dayforce experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyze HR data and trends.
• Background in organizational development and change management.
• Strategic thinking and solid business understanding.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Preferably able to commute to Holmdel, NJ.
Salary range: $95,000–$106,000 per year.
