About the Role

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer at Citrine Informatics, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has a background in data analysis, database management, and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain a data warehouse solution that ensures accessibility and reliability for stakeholders
  • Implement ETL pipelines to load data from diverse sources, including our application databases and our SaaS tools
  • Implement a “semantic view” for analysis in collaboration with stakeholders across the company
  • Create data governance policies
  • Ensure the quality and security of data in the warehouse.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • 5+ years as an analytics engineer or equivalent role
  • 5+ years experience with a BI tool
  • 5+ years Postgres, Python, AWS
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering tools (Redshift, Airflow, Glue, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS Quicksight
  • Experience with a multi-account AWS architecture
  • Experience in an ISO-27001 or SOC2-compliant organization

Compensation and Pay Transparency

At Citrine, we want your path to career growth to be transparent, straightforward, fair, and easily accessible — starting with your application and interview process. The annual salary range listed below reflects the level we are considering for this position (please note that there may be unique situations where you may fall outside of this range). Where you fall within the range will depend on how your experience and skills align with our internal leveling system as we learn more about you throughout the interview process.

$165,000 USD – $185,000 USD

*Range(s) listed are for full-time employees based in the United States only. Colorado only: disclosure above meets the requirement by sb19-085(8-5-20).
