About the role
In this role, you will partner with key overhead cost centres—including IT, Finance, and People—providing financial oversight, planning, and performance management. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will ensure strong cost management and offer commercial challenge where needed.

The position is part of the FP&A team and will also support business‑wide reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

What you’ll do
• Serve as the main finance partner for overhead cost centres such as IT, Finance, People, and other corporate functions
• Lead monthly cost centre reviews, presenting results and explaining variances against budget and prior periods
• Provide clear insights on risks, variances, and emerging cost pressures
• Appropriately challenge spending and help stakeholders make informed, commercially sound decisions
• Lead quarterly reforecasting for assigned cost centres, ensuring accurate and well‑understood forecasts
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process, helping build credible budgets aligned with business strategy
• Identify areas for efficiency and support cost‑optimisation efforts
• Contribute to FP&A projects, analysis, and strategic initiatives
• Support with reporting and presentation materials for the CFO, CEO, and board
• Provide analytical input for business cases, investment decisions, and cost‑benefit analysis
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across corporate teams
• Present financial insights confidently to senior management, including the CFO and CEO
• Act as a finance leader who adds value through insight and challenge, not just reporting

About you
• Background in finance or accounting, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
• Experience in a Finance Business Partner or FP&A role
• Strong track record of working with senior non‑finance stakeholders
• Clear and confident communicator with the ability to challenge effectively
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with shifting priorities
• Commercially minded with strong ownership
• Confident and credible with senior leadership
• Proactive and solution‑oriented
• Able to balance strong financial control with effective partnership

What we offer
We provide up to a 7% pension contribution, life insurance, income protection, and private medical insurance. Enjoy flexible hybrid working, plus the opportunity to work remotely anywhere in the world for two weeks each year. You’ll receive 25 days of annual leave, two personal well‑being days, additional end‑of‑year gifted leave, and early‑finish Summer Fridays in June, July, and August.

You’ll have access to free counselling through our employee assistance programme and personalised health support. Enhanced parental, family, and fertility benefits—including support from Peppy—ensure care at every step of your family‑planning journey. We also offer extensive training, personal development resources, and opportunities for global mobility.

We encourage all applicants to review our candidate privacy notice before applying.
