This is an incredibly broad and entrepreneurial role. You will be working as part of an extremely passionate team of six. You will be our first sales/marketing/business development hire. You will be working alongside our Co-founder & CEO to develop and execute our go to market strategy. You will have a huge opportunity to grow and develop your role alongside the company’s extremely ambitious growth plan.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

This is an incredibly broad role. We are very much hiring for aptitude and attitude rather than experience. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is creative, ambitious and entrepreneurial. We’re a complex and ambitious product offering, so there will be a large and growing amount to get your arms around;
  • Is excited by and can thrive in uncertainty. We are still embryonic as a business. We will need to generate, test, assess, refine and discard a huge number of ideas for our go to market strategy. The corollary of this is a huge opportunity for impact;
  • Is resilient. We are not a short sales cycle. You will need to have the tenacity and time management skills to persist;
  • Has a passion for web technology and its ability to solve important real world problems;
  • Loves learning and learns fast;
  • Builds and maintains relationships. We are a very consultative sell. Strong relationships with our customers and partner accounting firms will be a critical part of this role;
  • Will be comfortable exhibiting and presenting CHASER at events and webinars;
  • Is excited about helping to build our marketing machine through direct marketing, social media and thought leadership, amongst others;
  • Has a good degree of tech literacy given the importance of CRM and email marketing tools to our go to market strategy. You don’t necessarily need to have used these specific tools before. But you should be excited about doing so at Chaser!

We are very much not prescriptive about background for this role. We feel we’ll know the right person when we see them.

Salary and compensation

$30,000 — $40,000/year
