Scheduled to open in early summer 2026, Blue Bottle Coffee will launch a new café near Kamakura Station. While it will be close to the lively streets of Kamakura, the café will offer a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

As a Blue Bottle Coffee barista, you will deliver warm hospitality, build your coffee skills and knowledge, and help create better experiences for both your team and our guests.

Depending on the hiring process and operational requirements, you may be asked to train or work at a nearby café. Until the new location opens, you will work at an existing store within commuting distance. Final placement will be determined by the company.

Main responsibilities:
• Serve great coffee while providing hospitality tailored to each guest
• Maintain cleanliness and support smooth café operations
• Work with team leaders to improve café operations and the café environment
• Share ideas with leaders and teammates to enhance the café
• Understand business goals and support the leadership team
• Handle certain café operational tasks based on team needs and your growth opportunities
• Follow operational guidelines and support new company initiatives

Who we’re looking for:
• Someone who genuinely cares about excellent coffee and food and is motivated to provide outstanding hospitality

• Someone eager to improve their skills and knowledge every day

Barista experience (beginners welcome):
• Prior barista experience will not affect hiring decisions
• We focus on your passion for coffee, food, and delivering great guest experiences, along with your commitment to training and learning

• Coffee training will be provided after you join, with strong support afterward

Location and other details:
• Employment type: 30-hour weekly contract (3-month trial period), with the possibility of promotion to full-time
• Hourly wage: 1,300 yen
• Location: Near Kamakura Station

Working conditions:
• Shift-based schedule
• Ability to work long-term (1 year or more)
• Ability to work 5 days per week, including both weekdays and weekends/holidays
• Ability to work 6-hour shifts
• During busy periods, shifts may be longer than 6 hours, but will remain under 40 hours per week
