The Senior Benefit Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for U. S. -based employee benefits and equity compensation programs. In this high-growth environment, the role transcends routine administration to lead the strategic analysis and optimization of health, welfare, retirement (401k), and equity portfolios. As a key partner to HR leadership, Finance, and Payroll, this position ensures all programs are accurate, scalable, and fully compliant with federal and state regulations.
How you will achieve success:
- Benefits & Equity Administration: Lead the day-to-day administration of health, welfare, and retirement plans. Manage equity compensation programs, specifically focusing on UARs and RSUs.
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform rigorous monthly invoice reconciliations; identify root causes of discrepancies and implement long-term fixes.
- Payroll Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Payroll team to ensure seamless benefit deductions, retroactive adjustments, and data integrity.
- Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor enrollment accuracy, billing variances, and equity activity to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure 100% compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA. Support annual filings, audits, and vendor performance evaluations.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to automate or streamline workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration or analysis.
- Equity Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience supporting equity compensation plans (UARs, RSUs, etc.).
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (you should be comfortable with XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- System Knowledge: Experience navigating HRIS and benefits enrollment platforms.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of benefits compliance and federal/state regulations.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex benefit or equity data into clear, actionable communication for cross-functional partners.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
