PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
– Achieve monthly targets for qualified sales opportunities.
– Achieve monthly pipeline generation targets.
– Meet or exceed activity metrics for managing inbound leads.
– Meet or exceed activity metrics for outbound attempts, including calls, voicemails, conference calls, discovery calls, emails, and LinkedIn InMails.
– Present the value proposition of the Cority solution and communicate key details about our products and delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Actively build product, customer, and market knowledge.
– Educate prospective customers on new and existing capabilities of the software platform.
– Partner with Sales Executives (SEs) to research and prioritize target account lists.
– Validate and update sales and marketing information in Salesforce (SFDC).
– Qualify inbound leads created through marketing efforts to identify relevant Sales Accepted Opportunities for SEs.
– Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling to find and qualify relevant Sales Accepted Opportunities for SEs.
– Build long-term opportunity pipelines through consistent phone and email outreach.
– Maintain a strong, consistent pipeline of leads.
– Share new market trends that can help inform sales and marketing messaging for targeted audiences.
– Create sales and marketing materials to support lead generation and nurturing activities with Marketing.
– Work off-hours may be required for international market development (early or late shifts).
– Perform other duties as assigned.
– This role reports to the BDR Manager and has day-to-day accountability to, as well as coaching from, the BDR Team Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
– Undergraduate degree.
EXPERIENCE:
– 1–2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in B2B and preferably in software.
COMPETENCIES:
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong time-management and organizational skills.
– Ability to navigate corporate environments and identify decision makers.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
– Knowledge of CRMs such as Salesforce is desirable.
