Emberlight is seeking a Nodejs engineer to join our team. You will be part of small team building web services and applications for our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecting and developing high performance, scalable web services.

Requirements • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS • Proficient in SQL and relational database design • At least 1 year of professional Nodejs development • Knowledgeable in modern web services design (REST, JSON, etc.) and security (CORS, CSRF, XSS, etc.) • Capable of shipping products running on Amazon Web Services and managing infrastructure. • Capable of independent design and development with minimal supervision

Additional Qualifications • Experience shipping products running on Amazon Elastic Beanstalk and familiarity with other Amazon web services such as RDS, SNS, etc. • Experience working in a fast paced early-stage startup environment • Experience with Nodejs build utilities such as Gulp or Grunt • Experience with PostgreSQL
