We’re looking for a salaried full time backend engineer with experience in Python programming. You will be joining an existing team of 15 to continue building our server monitoring and systems management service, Server Density – https://www.serverdensity.com
Although we have a custom built office in Chiswick, West London, all our engineers currently work remotely from around the UK and Europe using tools like Hipchat, Google+, Google Hangouts and Github to collaborate. As such, you will have the choice of relocating to London or working from home wherever you are.
For this position, we are recruiting only from the UK and Western Europe. Outside this geography we can discuss relocation.
What will you be working on?
Core feature development – you will be joining the existing engineering team to build product features for our customer base of developers and sysadmins. We have a long roadmap and you will get to lead development on major new functionality.
Fixing problems – you’ll be expected to work with our support team to investigate and fix customer problems as they’re reported. All our engineers rotate through helping our support team to ensure there’s no disconnect between what we build and what customers want.
Writing for a large audience – our technical blog receives thousands of daily uniques. You’ll have the opportunity to write about the fixes and new features you create.
