WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As Backend Engineer you will be the genius behind our platform and technology architecture. You will focus attention on the scalability and optimization of speed of the CorQuests platform and software development primary in our server-side infrastructure and architecture. Your part is to make sure our platform lives up to the promised value, advantages, and functionality in reliable platform architect. As Backend Engineer you will:

Coordinate and collaborate with user experience, design, development, and engineering teams to implement scalable and usable software systems.

Design, implement, test, and deploy data processing infrastructure

Design and implement security architecture, data protection, and data storage solutions

Drive development of internal and external APIs

Identify and address performance issues

Integrate the code and elements developed by the Frontend Engineer(s)

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Strong working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, session handling with PHP configuration

Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Strong working knowledge of accessibility standards, security compliances, and key server-side development concepts

Strong working knowledge of code versioning tools and OWASP security principles

Strong working knowledge of data structures

Salary and compensation

$70,000 — $150,000/year
