We are looking for an exceptional backend developer, with experience creating high quality cloud web and mobile applications.

You’ll be a part of the team working with CTO and the rest of the technical team on something groundbreaking. If you have a track record of building and shipping 1.0 products and passion for new technologies, this might be the right position for you.

Ideal Skillset:

• Design and build scalable backend infrastructure in Java/Scala to support our web and mobile application
• Expertise in ditributed distributed/micro-services architecture
• In-depth experience with AWS or Open Stack cloud infrastructure
• Test-driven development
• Experience with latency and fault tolerance in large cloud applications (hystrix etc.)
• Best practices around platform monitoring (Ganglia, Graphite, Logstash)

Practical Requirements:

• Mordern Java/Scala frameworks such as Dropwizard, Play, Akka
• API management and documentation (Swagger, Mashery etc.)
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EC2 Container Service)
• Database design and performance optimization

Bonuses:

• WebUI experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Ember, Angular etc.)
• Experience with mobile application development
