We’re seeking an engineer to join our team and help make communications more relevant and contextual by integrating voice and messaging capabilities directly into our application.
DAY-TO-DAY
Our engineers own and run their products and services from conception to continuous operation. As a member of our developer team you will implement real-time voice and messaging services using Python and standards such as SIP, WebRTC, REST and HTTP. To take it to scale, you will be developing a distributed platform and will be concerned with availability, throughput, latency as well as real-time considerations. There will be a significant data component so you will be working with distributed SQL and NoSQL databases and caches. At the core are cloud technologies that enable deployment and management of computing resources globally.
IT’S A MATCH IF YOU
- Can collaborate with product managers, architects and engineering to define, architect and build new customer-facing features.
- Strive to make quality by writing unit, functional, load and performance tests.
- Are able to design and develop horizontally-scalable, resilient and performing-under-load systems.
- Have a strong experience with Python, Django and traditional RDBMS databases, such as MySQL, Postgres.
- Have background in HTTP, networking, and security.
- Excel as an engineer and be a productive member of the team where leadership is a behavioral trait, not a title.
- We are seeking engineers who have solved complex problems at scale and have the aptitude to navigate uncharted waters.
