We’re actively hiring phone representatives to support our brokers by booking high-quality appointments with business owners who are considering selling their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, industry-leading organization in the business brokerage field.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Make outbound (cold to warm) phone calls to businesses identified as strong candidates for sale or acquisition
- Talk with business owners to understand their interest in selling and confirm they meet our qualification standards, while following our conversation guidelines and script
- Schedule appointments between the business owner and our brokers for an initial discussion
- Record conversation details in our CRM, including notes and agreed next steps
- Improve performance proactively through coaching and feedback
- Meet or exceed minimum weekly and monthly KPI targets
Success Criteria & Bonus Compensation
A formal bonus program provides additional compensation based on results against one or more KPIs. KPIs will be set, and your results will be monitored across the following areas:
- Calls made per hour
- Appointments scheduled compared to the total number of calls made
- Appointments qualified by brokers
- Number of listings generated from appointments
Requirements
- Candidates must have at least one year of proven phone experience (preferably in B2B or B2C sales, business development, or appointment setting)
- Residents of the USA or Canada
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to work from home or another location with reliable, distraction-free internet and reasonable soundproofing
- Ownership and basic knowledge of using a computer (desktop, laptop, or possibly a tablet) with a speaker/headset, webcam, and a high-quality microphone
- Ability to use tools and software such as a CRM, Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Zoom, email, etc.
- Strong personal qualities such as: self-driven, resourceful, results-focused, excellent phone presence, coachable, a winning mindset, strong follow-through, persuasive, honest, assertive, detail-oriented, and genuinely people-oriented
