Azure Function .NET Engineer

last updated April 9, 2021 21:09 UTC

It’s simple. We want a C# . Net Engineer with backend experience to work on our Azure function platform and APIM development. If you don’t know what that is, or don’t find that prospect exciting, we are probably not a fit for you.

On the other hand, you get to master the ‘serverless’ world that will displace all those docker and kubernetes experts–or hedge your career bets if you already are one.

We are a lean startup. If you don’t know what that is, read "Lean Startup". Then come back here, where you’ll get to build a core team of very smart and talented people solving very difficult problems.

We work on Slack and Zoom. If that makes you uncomfortable, then stay in your comfort zone and don’t apply.

But you won’t have to commute, or relocate, away from friends and family, to a place you cannot afford to live.

We just delivered Beta 1 Preview. It was rough. Phase 1 delivers in February. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.

No way to sugarcoat that. We’ll be moving fast fast fast.

But then we move on to a second phase that incorporates machine learning and sociographic information to transform local economies.

In short, this is a position at the leading edge of software services engineering skillsets.

If you read this far, you should probably apply and see if we are a match.

This a contract-to-hire job.

Relevant Skills the Might Convince Us:

  • C# and Visual Studio a must.

  • Swagger or other tools for building APIs

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure API Management

  • Neo4j, Cypher, multi-node, enterprise deployments a plus

  • Twilio api experience a plus.

  • A marked propensity to Google it first and ask questions later.
