The work:
- Educate team members on the test pyramid, and help them evolve test suites with a proper balance of unit, feature, component, integration, system test cases.
- Collaborate with other members of agile teams to convert acceptance criteria to test cases, automate, and execute them as part of a sprint cycle.
- Design and implement automated test flows from Dev to Integration to Production.
- Design and implement automated tests and test suites by creating scripts that execute test cases, and increase test coverage.
- Install and configure environments for cross-team integration tests, and oversee handover to operational teams.
- Propose best practices/standards.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues that occur outside of the regular release cycle.
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience developing QA Automation test suites and scripts
- Good knowledge of UI test automation tools, such as Selenium, TestCafe, Appium, etc
- Good knowledge of Services/Backend test automation tools such as Junit, pytest, etc
- Good knowledge of test automation tracking/execution tools such as TestRail, Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc
- Good knowledge of Cucumber and BDD tools, such as Robot, Behave, etc
- Familiarity with build scripting tools, such as Ant, Maven, Gradle
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to software quality
- Familiarity with an agile development process.
- You must be at least 21 years old or older
- You must be comfortable with adult content
What is preferred:
- Hands-on experience in delivering quality software as part of an agile scrum team
- Hands-on experience in using containers/Docker to deploy software
